Logo

Below are my logo thought process, here I will explain my inspiration behind the design, and how I feel it represents myself, and my brand.

1.

When I was first experimenting with ideas, I wanted something simple. What first came to my mind as a simple shape was a circle, I thought this was a good shape to show how 'well rounded' I am within a group and also how I shine a light on my individuality. I wanted to also make the 'T' of my initial bolder than the other letters because my surname Thoumakesone, is a unique name and I am also proud of my Laotian culture side of things. I also decided to have the 'S' expand out of the circle because I feel that it looks more quirky and also used up the empty space within the circle.

2.

Next, I started looking at other simple shapes. With the triangles, I feel that it represents structure as the triangle is one of the strongest form of shapes and are used often in strong construction work, which in a way reflects my consistent structure and organisation within projects and such. I later decided to put the 'MS' in forms of doodles as I felt that it showed that among my strategic organisation, I am still able to expand my creativeness.

3.

After that, I received feedback from my friend and he suggested an infinity triangle. That way the logo is less busy and my initials also stand out much clearer compared to the first triangle logo. It also brings across the same message as the first.

At the end of my experimenting with different logo designs, I feel that the first logo design represented me the most, but many other people preferred the third design as it is easier to look at. From the feedback I have been given, I will in the future create one which is more refined, but for now I would like to continue with my first logo design.
